HISTORY / INTRO

Nestled on top of a hill in Falassarna, West Crete, this Greek restaurant offers a nice dining experience. It is well-known among both locals and tourists, yet manages to maintain a pleasant ambiance without being overly crowded. The highlight of the restaurant is undoubtedly its traditional Cretan cuisine, particularly their meat dishes.

COMMENT

On the day of my visit, the weather was nice, although the wind was a bit strong. However, the restaurant provided windproof cloths. The dishes I ordered are Dakos(bread was too dry) lamb chops, beef Spilios(beef stew) garden vegetable dish (stew vegetable with tomatoes – a bit like ratatouille).

The food was delicious, especially the lamb chops, grilled just right& the quality of meat was so good. The seasoning was minimal but very good. It was the most delicious lamb chops I’ve ever eaten.
